Flint Lockwood thinks he's a genius. But none of the matters he invented are matters that make feel or are beneficial. However, he has the support of his mother however whilst she dies, he is left by myself along with his father who thinks he need to deliver it up. When the community that he lives in is in an economic disaster because their number one source of income, a sardine cannery, changed into close down, Flint decides to try his ultra-modern invention, a system which can flip water into food. But something is going wrong and the gadget ends up in the atmosphere. Later it begins raining meals. The shifty mayor tries to use this as a manner to assist their network, however whilst Flint senses something incorrect with the machine, the mayor convinces him to disregard it. However, as Flint predicts, chaos ensues.
